Dive Schedule

We will do everything to make your holiday in North Sulawesi unforgettable. Therefore we offer amongst other things a flexible dive schedule. Dive trips are being organized every day of the year up to 4 times per day. Boats are leaving at 8 o'clock, 10 o'clock, 14 o'clock as well leave for a sunset or night dive trip on request. Diving takes place in small groups of a maximum of 4 guests per dive guide and for beginners or serious photographers this ratio is even decreased to 2 divers per guide. We will simply ask you every day what you want to do the next day and make the daily planning on our white board.

Specialised Guides

Do you have special dive and/or snorkel wishes? Are you a beginner, a photographer or interested in one specific underwater species? Please let us know. We have specialised staff to help you with almost anything.

You can even hire your own personal photo dive guide, who will make photos of you and your buddy, but also will help you to take the perfect shot to take home. Communication is the key to a perfect (dive) holiday.

Our professional PADI instructors are qualified to conduct most PADI programs and our multi-lingual staff can give you a briefing and can communicate in English, Dutch, German, French and Indonesian.

Care & Carry Service

Thalassa Dive Center offers ”care-and-carry” service. Every dive day, your equipment is carried to the boat, set up and checked, tanks will be changed between dives and after the last dive, your equipment will be rinsed and stored away until your next dive. Our 24-hour security makes sure that your precious equipment is safe and well protected.

You also don’t have to worry about bringing drinking water or towels. We try to think of everything, you only have to come down to dive. We do assume that that is something you would like to do yourself ;-)

We finally have our new dive center up and running and can now offer Nitrox as well. We have chosen for a blending system, which means that our filling capacity is limited for now. If you prefer to dive with Nitrox please do order this up front. There is a surcharge for diving with Nitrox. Please check our latest price list to find out the price.

Rental Equipment

Thalassa has 15 sets of well-maintained equipment, all from well-known brands like Aqualung and SeaQuest, available for guests. Our fins, masks, snorkels and wetsuits are from varied brands to guarantee the best fit.

Thalassa Fleet

Thalassa runs a small fleet of 4 boats which can take between 6 and 12 divers. The boats are spacious and allow both seated in the shade as well as sunbathing on deck or the roof. A small speedboat can be rented as a private boat for photographers or guests who would like to have a private guide and their own schedule. It is needless to mention that all boats are equipped with all necessary safety equipment such as fist aid box and emergency oxygen unit as well as toilet.

Camera- & Class Room

Are you an underwater photographer? We have a dedicated camera room with AC which is the perfect place to keep, organize and set up your camera, housing and photography accessories. It contains a private workstation with power plugs (220V) and just outside, you find a rinse tank.

The room has a double function and can also be used as a classroom equipped with LCD projector and screen. It is much easier to study in a cool space!

An extra personal touch!

At the end of your holiday, we will give you your own, personal log sheet to bring home. It helps you to fill out your logbook, but also reminds you of the wonderful time you had with us and how many dive sites there are still left to visit next time.
