Terms & Conditions

General Policies

Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is at 14:00; Check-out is at 11:00. Early arrivals or late departures are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Travel & Dive Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to hold comprehensive travel and dive-specific insurance (e.g. Divers Alert Network (DAN)). Coverage must include medevac, decompression chamber treatments, and trip cancellations.

Diving & Snorkeling

Liability Disclaimer: Participation in diving and resort activities is at the guest’s own risk. Thalassa Dive Resorts is not liable for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven gross negligence.
Health & Safety: Divers must present a valid certification card. The resort reserves the right to prevent a guest from diving if they are deemed medically unfit or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Equipment Responsibility: Guests are responsible for all resort equipment loaned or rented to them. Damage or loss will be charged at the current replacement retail value.

Payment & Deposit Policy

Individual Bookings:
- 31+ days prior: 25% deposit required.
- Within 30 days: 100% payment required.
Group Bookings (7+ guests):
- 30% deposit to confirm.
- Full payment due 45 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Individual bookings:

30 days or less: 100% charge applies; deposit is forfeited.
31+ days: 25% deposit forfeited.

Group bookings (7+ geusts):

91+ days: Deposit refunded minus a 50% administrative fee.
46–90 days: Deposit is forfeited.
45 days or less: 100% charge of total booking.

Refunds

No refunds are given for unused portions of packages after arrival. In case of documented medical emergencies, a credit voucher valid indefinitely will be issued.

Force Majeure

Thalassa Dive Resorts Indonesia shall not be held liable for any loss resulting from a Force Majeure event.

Defined Events: Includes volcanic eruptions/ash clouds, earthquakes, pandemics, and government travel restrictions.
Resolution: The resort reserves the right to issue a credit voucher for future stays in lieu of cash refunds.

Environmental & House Rules

Marine Protection: Any fines for reef damage caused by a guest will be the sole responsibility of that guest.
Conduct: Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund.

Discount Policy

Indonesian citizens: 10%
Expats (KITAS/KITAP holders): 5%
Infants (1–5 years)
- Free of charge when sharing a room with a parent or guardian.
- Free baby cot provided upon request.
- If an extra bed is required, a 50% discount applies.
Children (6–11 years)
- 50% discount on accommodation and activities.
- Not valid for PADI Bubblemaker, Junior Open Water courses, or boat dives with licensed junior divers.
Juniors (12+ years) — Full price applies.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be settled in the jurisdiction of the local courts.
